Callout fee links work for whoever opens them. Someone signed in to a business of their own was told the link couldn't be found, and a payment could be refunded straight back.
A callout fee kept under your cancellation policy, or taken off the job as a credit, now says so on the customer's link instead of loading forever.
Online booking checks your whole calendar whoever is booking, and every booking lands in your calendar.
Assigning a subcontractor to a job lists the jobs you've won (it always said you had none), and managers can assign them too.
A draft tender says it's still a draft, not that bids are sealed.
Price estimates that used past jobs say so again, with how many accepted prices they used.
Shared job pages, public lessons, Rate a supplier, the accounting health dot and your portfolio's team all behave as they say.

Keep your working with the quote. A new Calculations section in the quote editor saves any calculator under your own name for it, like "Submain to the shed". Your client never sees it, and every version of the quote keeps it.
Calculations list the materials they need, added up across the quote. Tick the ones you need and they go into Pricing as lines at $0, ready for your prices.
Change a calculation later and its answer and materials change with it. Lines already in Pricing stay as you priced them.
Keeping calculations with a quote is part of Pro. Every calculator stays free on the Calculators page.

When someone reports damage to a piece of gear, the owner and managers are told straight away. Major and unsafe damage is emailed too, and the person who reported it hears when it's fixed.
Gear reported unsafe is taken out of use until the report is resolved, so it can't be signed out to a job in the meantime.

The Assets numbers now use your business's own date, so nothing turns overdue mid-morning, and lost or written-off gear no longer counts towards what's due or what your gear is worth.

Measure and price for every trade: areas, set-out checks, a slope converter, a cut list that gets the most out of your stock lengths, markup and margin, quote prices with GST, labour days and your charge-out rate.
Any manager can now run the fleet: edit and assign every vehicle in the business, and see all services, driving and zone events.
The top bar shows "Location on" while your employer is receiving your location. Tap it to open Driver Mode.
Vehicle service reminders are now sent each morning when a service is due soon or overdue.

The tools dock's calculators now give the right answers: spacing counts round up, roof sheets are counted per plane, and voltage drop, kW to amps and GST are fixed.
Fleet: locations saved offline land on the right vehicle, trips keep to the day you picked, and live-ETA links open the website.
Stock Items: Show more adds the next hundred items, however many you have.
Equipment hire on a phone now shows the local hire yards and the "List yours" link, which sat off screen.

v1.81.1 Callout fees, deposits and refunds move money exactly once13 Oct 2026

A disputed callout fee can now be refunded by the tradie, or resolved by QuoteTrades either way.
Booking deposits are now paid to the business three days after the appointment. A request that was never confirmed is cancelled and its deposit refunded automatically.

Fixed

Refunding a card or Tap to Pay payment now takes the money back from the tradie's payout, and a refund can't be sent twice.
Callout fees are paid out exactly once, and a credit to a follow-up job always counts on that job's quote.
A payment made for a callout fee or booking that could no longer take it is refunded automatically.

Stock on its way between your places is counted: locations, the stock summary and Items show what's on the way, so moved stock no longer drops out of your totals.
Move stock straight away (the usual case) or send it as a delivery that's ticked off at the other end. Archiving a place that still has stock offers to move it all to your main location first.
A new On jobs tab under Stock shows parts issued to jobs and work orders. Scanning out to a job records it and keeps you on the scanner.
The item editor has one On hand here number per location with why it changed, plus Move some to another location and Take it off a location.
Purchase orders: edit a draft, cancel an order, and confirm before sending or deleting. When something can't be done, it says why.
Archived locations can be restored, and Reorder points out items at their reorder level with no fill-to level.
On the phone, Stock and My van chips on Home.

Undo is refused once an item has been counted since, so it can't put a count out.
Taking off more than is there asks first.
Average cost stays right when a delivery is undone and while stock is on its way.
Reorder no longer orders stock that's already on a draft order, and prices at the purchase cost.
A double tap can't move, receive or create anything twice.
Suppliers: no duplicates (a second Bunnings Trade could be added), and deleting one asks first.
Sending a purchase order says so when nothing was emailed, and line totals add up to the subtotal.
Times show in Brisbane time, and numbers read 8 and $24.50, not 8.0 and $24.5.
Phone layouts: the scanner's Undo button, item names, purchase order cards and filters. On a computer, the card for a new barcode no longer sits off the bottom of the scanner.

Money held for a job stage is now paid to the tradie, or returned to the customer, exactly once. Before anything moves we check with Stripe, so a payment can't go out twice and a stage can't be refunded after it has been paid.
If a sign-off and the automatic release happen at the same moment, only one goes through. The other is told the payment is already on its way.
A dispute raised just before a stage's automatic release now always stops it.
A stage that was paid but still showed as held now shows as paid, with the date the money actually left.

Stage invoices take the quote's GST instead of adding 10% on top, and the stages add up to the quote to the cent.
A job is billed from its quote or in stages, never both, and deposits are credited across the stages once.
A stage paid through escrow can't also be invoiced, and adding a stage to a schedule saves again.
The calendar, team schedule, time, expenses, restock list and progress schedules take only your business's own jobs.
Importing jobs never touches another person's account, and re-importing customers keeps their job history.
Your sign-in goes to QuoteTrades only: Fuel Finder's address search no longer passes it on.
Fuel Finder and the job map say "Map unavailable" when no map is set up, and Fuel Finder still lists prices.
Stock's value at cost rounds half a cent up, like every other amount.

Pick a van's top-up by scanning or tapping each line, or print its pick list. The van's holder takes it in from My van.
Crew can ask for stock from My van. Requests show on the list with who asked and close when what was made for them arrives.
Purchase order lines can be one of your items, found by name, SKU or code, ordered by the box or roll and received in it. An order can name its job.

Stock is one row in the menu, in place of Materials, with tabs for Locations, Scan, Items, Orders, Restock list, Transfers and Suppliers. Supplier bills moved to Costs & profit.
The location board shows every store room, van and site against its own levels, what it's worth at cost, what's low or below zero, and who holds it, with a "Needs you" list and today's movements.
A new scanner opens on your van. Stock going out goes to a job (today's first) or a reason, in any amount or a whole pack, by camera or USB scan gun.
"My scans today" survives a refresh, and undo reverses the exact scan: your own for 24 hours, anyone's for a manager for 30 days.
An unknown code can be linked to an item, saved as a box, or added as a new item with its cost and photo.
Managers can receive a delivery by scanning it in against its purchase order.
Crew get "My van": what's low on it and their scans today.
Job costing counts stock scanned out to a job at what it cost you.
With no signal, the phone app keeps scans and sends them later, recorded once.

v1.71.0 Stock items, codes and cost7 Oct 2026

Your own stickers, numbers and box codes now scan. Link any code to an item, from the item or straight from the scanner when it scans a code it doesn't know. A box code counts its whole box.
The scanner reads codes the way shops print them, and a shop barcode that didn't read cleanly asks for a rescan instead of matching something else.
Scanning a location's label switches the scanner to that location.
Each item has an Edit sheet: a photo, your own name for it, how it's counted and bought, the preferred supplier and their code, lead time, and reorder and fill-to levels at each location.
Stock is costed at its moving average from what you receive on purchase orders. Staff don't see costs.
A purchase order line in the item's purchase unit arrives as that many packs (2 rolls of 100 m is 200 m).

Fixed

Undoing a box scan in the scanner takes the box back out, not that many boxes.
Stock figures no longer show as "1.0" or "15.0".

Crew and staff can scan stock in and out on the Business plan; setting up locations, levels, counts and transfers stays with owners, admins and managers.
Stock's basics are now on Pro: scanning in and out, stock levels and the low stock list, for one store and one van. Business adds more locations and crew and staff scanning.
Scanning out more than the system thought was there records the whole scan. The item shows "count this" instead of the shortfall quietly disappearing.
Deleting a location that has stock history archives it instead, so its history is kept and it can be restored. The app asks before deleting.
Receiving a purchase order into a location now updates its stock and records each line in the stock history.
The scanner shows which location each scan went to, and undo puts it back there. A keyboard button lets you type a worn barcode on a phone.

Fixed

An item added from an unknown barcode, or a catalogue import, stays private to your business.
No business can change the barcode of a shared catalogue item, and a barcode your business set up wins over the shared catalogue's.
A transfer can't ship more than the location holds, and can't receive more than was shipped.
Stock transfers and purchase orders are numbered per business, and a number is never reused.
Two people scanning the same item at the same moment both count.
An item with no reorder level is never "low", and new stock lines no longer come with made-up levels.
Purchase orders can use any of the business's suppliers and the shared wholesalers; making an order from the restock list keeps every item.
The dashboard's low stock figure counts the whole business's locations.
Inventory says what went wrong when a transfer or a location change fails, instead of showing a success message.
Team members see the features of the plan their business is on.
Help describes stock as it works today.

One quote editor for every quote, made for a phone. A marketplace quote opens in fast mode with the job on top; a quote for your own customer opens in full mode, and switching never loses a line.
A quote adds up the same everywhere: the editor, your customer's page, Compare, the PDF and the invoice show the same figures to the cent, with GST only when your business is registered for it.
Free plan: 3 marketplace quotes a month for each business, counted when a quote is sent. Updates and resends don't use one, a withdrawn quote still counts, and a quote you can't send yet is kept to send later.
A marketplace quote can be sent once your ABN shows as active on the ABN register.
Pro adds quotes for your own customers, options with optional extras, saved items and automatic reminders.
A quote for your own customer goes by email with its PDF attached, or you share its link from your phone. The link always shows the latest version.
You can see when your customer opens a quote. Opens by your own team are never counted.
Remind a customer by hand once a day on any plan. On Pro, up to 3 automatic reminders go out, never in quiet hours, and they stop as soon as the customer decides.
Every quote email names your business and carries a link to stop quote emails. Once a customer stops them, they get no more reminders.
Customers accept on one page and can add a note. The price is worked out again on the server, so a changed total is refused rather than charged, and a quote can't be accepted twice.
Compare shows each quote in full: its lines, options and extras, totals, validity, deposit, start date and ABN. Customers can decline with a reason, or ask for an updated quote once one has expired.
Contact details are shared with both sides only once a marketplace quote is accepted.
Deposits are off until you turn them on. The most you can ask follows your state's rules, and no deposit is asked above your state's home warranty threshold. Customers pay by bank transfer to the account in your settings; you record it when it arrives and they get a receipt.
My Quotes is one list of every quote in four tabs, Drafts, Awaiting reply, Accepted and Closed, with what needs you at the top. The win rate counts decided quotes only and shows once 5 have been decided.
Each quote has its own page: what your customer sees, a timeline of what happened, the next step, and only the actions that can work right now.
Revise a sent quote to send an update on the same link. Your customer is told and reminders start again. An accepted or declined quote can't be changed.
Create an invoice from an accepted quote (Pro). It bills the option and extras the customer chose, matches the quote's GST and takes off any deposit paid. Asking again opens the same invoice.
Book an accepted quote into your schedule on the agreed start date.
The Pipeline moves a lead to Quote sent, Won or Lost as its quote goes out and is decided.
Saved items (Pro) replace templates and assemblies: one library of lines and bundles at your own prices, added to a quote or an invoice in one tap. Adding copies the lines, so changing an item never changes a quote you've sent.
Your templates and assemblies move into Saved items with the prices you set, and nothing is given a price it didn't have. The old pages take you to Saved items.
The starter library gives you common jobs to start from, with every price left for you to set.
Photos on quotes, and every photo the app keeps, have their location and device details taken out.

Fixed

Crew and accountants are told quoting is done by their manager, instead of getting a form that's then refused.
Smart Leads and My Quotes no longer show prices worked out from other businesses' quotes, and the AI Price Suggestion is gone.
Tax File Numbers are no longer collected, and the ones already stored have been deleted.
Maps say they're unavailable when no map provider is set up, instead of showing a broken map.
Only a job's customer sees the prices of the quotes on it, and switching between your businesses no longer mixes their quotes.
A quote is valid until the end of its last day in your business's time zone.

Safety & compliance has an Overview: one line for what runs out in the next 30 days, this week on site with each job's SWMS, checks and permits, what needs you, your registers, and a set-up checklist.
Registers: everyone's licences and tickets in one grid, plus business insurance and licences, plant, vehicles, subcontractors and chemicals, each with its expiry date and a CSV export. Nothing is typed twice: it reads the records you already keep.
Reminders go out 30, 14, 7 and 0 days before a ticket, licence, insurance policy, test and tag, rego or safety data sheet runs out, in the app and by email, to the person who holds it and to the owner and managers.
Job-specific SWMS (Pro): pick the job, tick the high-risk construction work for your state, add steps with hazards and controls, and say how they're put in place, checked and reviewed. It won't issue until the required parts are there. Each issued version is a locked PDF.
Crew sign the SWMS on their own phones, even with no signal, and a job shows who has signed. Share a SWMS with the builder through a link they open without an account.
Checks: start a pre-start or Take 5 from a job, set checks that every job or high-risk job needs, schedule checks that fall due on their own (Business), and review flagged answers.
Toolbox talks: record the topic, who attended (each person signs on their own phone) and the issues raised, as your record of consulting your workers.
Incidents and hazards: report from a phone in about a minute. "Is this notifiable?" follows your state's law and, when it might be, shows your regulator's number first, then what to keep undisturbed and the 48-hour written notice timer. Injury details are seen only by the owner, admins and the person hurt.
Compliance packs (Pro): one link a builder opens without an account, with your licences, insurance, your crew's tickets and the job's SWMS. A crew member's ticket details and copy are shared only with their recorded agreement.
Chemicals register: add a chemical from its safety data sheet, open the sheet on site, and see any sheet more than 5 years old.
Permits pick equipment from your Assets and workers from your Team, take real signatures on sign-on and sign-off, and need someone other than the person who raised them to approve (a sole trader approves their own, recorded as such).
Crew ticket copies: attach a photo or PDF of a ticket on the Team page or on your own row in Registers.
Safety records now belong to the business: owners and managers see the whole team's permits, forms and documents, and crew see what they need.

Fixed

Roles now come from the business you're working in, so someone who owns one business and works as crew in another is crew there.
Editing a form that crew have already filled in keeps every answer.
Warnings when someone is put on a job without a ticket it needs, such as a white card on construction work or an EWP ticket when an EWP is on the job.
Generated PDFs keep their text searchable when several are made at once.

Safety pages now describe only what they actually do. Permits say that sign-on and sign-off are recorded by the person tapping the button, with no claim of signatures, GPS or a separate supervisor sign-off.
Removing a safety document or a file in Documents asks first, then archives it rather than deleting it. It leaves every list but is kept on record.
A safety document past its expiry date now shows as expired on its own. Before, nothing ever marked one expired.
New form templates start as drafts, and only published templates can be filled in.
The Global Documents reference library has been removed, so Documents holds only your own files.
Safety headings and buttons now use sentence case.

Fixed

The permit interlock now checks only your own business. Another company using the same equipment ID no longer blocks you, and the wizard's check always gives the same answer as creating the permit.
A permit that expires with workers still signed on keeps its equipment locked, and whoever raised it is notified. A suspended permit also stays locked until it is closed.
Permit expiry times are saved in your own timezone. They were being read as UTC, so a Queensland permit expired 10 hours late.
Removed sample content that looked like real records: the Example SWMS card, and the made-up entries on Business > Activity and Business > Invites.
Business > Compliance no longer promises expiry alerts that were never sent.
The notification settings page now names the permit, home and hire notifications instead of showing their code names.
Archived files are now removed from the phone app when it syncs.

Hire gear: ask nearby hire yards for a scissor lift, excavator, generator and more for your site and dates. Yards reply with a price, and you choose one. Free.
Yards see your suburb until you choose one. Only the yard you choose gets your contact details and address. The hire agreement and payment are between you and the yard.
Each kind of equipment has its own page, with the yards that list it, their day and week rates, and the licence or training the operator may need.
Tradies can add hire to a quote at a nearby yard's listed rate. When the customer accepts, the yard is asked to confirm it for the job's dates.
Hire yards reply from the link in the email, no account needed, and can claim their listing to manage their rates and branches.
Every kind of equipment has its own drawing, and the hire page leads with what you can hire near your site today, with rates shown including GST.

Vehicle tracking on the phone was sending location to an address that doesn't exist. It now reaches the real server.
Internal: a testing switch that makes a development server enforce the same rules as the live site, so trying something out gives an honest answer.

Bidders can flag what your scope is missing. It's priced separately and never added to their total, so telling you costs them nothing — and if two bidders spot the same gap independently, you're told.
If you run more than one business, they're now genuinely separate: separate jobs, invoices, gear, hours, team, payments and accounting.
Each business has its own reviews and rating. A new business starts fresh rather than inheriting the other's — which is what a customer choosing between them deserves to see.
Both your businesses are findable in the directory, each under its own name, ABN and logo.
The same person can work for both businesses, with their own rate and hours at each.

Editing one business could silently overwrite the other's details. Whichever business you have selected is now the one you're editing.
